Isnt the one at Konami offices hooked up to JP E-amuse?

Any word on this thing getting rolled out to other locations?
I don't even care if we get it in our state anymore, I'd just like to hear that at least one machine other than Brunswick Zone in Naperville has e-amusement set up and online, or is at least going to get it within the next month or so. It's not a good sign for the future if only one machine in the entire country gets this, or if it takes until November, when everything is unlocked anyway and the internet rankings are closed.
I understand Ryan is a busy man, but some kind of update would be nice. Thanks...
When you put your card in a new version, it'll prompt if you want to transfer the scores. However, I don't know if once you transfer it, if the scores are still backwards compatible with the old version.
Based on my experience, I think it simply copies all your old scores onto your save data for the new version. So after the transfer, if you play on the previous version, your scores should still be there the way they were before the transfer. I don't think scores on a new version can be transferred to an old version, though. So if you break a personal record that you transferred, the score probably won't show up on an old version.
also my guess on using a JP card is that it would just have you create a new account (because US e-amusement and JP e-amusement, at least at the time BZN had it, were separate, but there was no obvious difference between the cards)
