Total Tokens: 1,250.94 Donate Tokens | Why is Max 300 such a classic? On a lot of machines, whether Extreme, Supernova, or Supernova 2, I always, always see Max 300 on the top 10 most played. Whenever I see someone play a 10, 9 times out of 10 it's Max 300. How has this song remained so popular?
(to a lesser extent, HVAM as well)

It's also a really good song for what it's meant to be (highly energetic and challenging DDR music) and has great steps.

I still think HVAM is that borderline, rights-of-passage cata that is necessary to beat with an A or greater before you would attempt some of the tougher 10s that now exist.
Course, back before things changed, that was pushing bag or SAKURA on someone. :P
Anyways, MAX 300 is just one of the better icons of DDR alongside of PSM, in my opinion. That doesn't necessarily mean they're the best charts or songs or whatever but most people that've played DDR over the years (perhaps all of them) are usually not ones that are gonna tear themselves away from the classics especially with some of the crap charts that have been coming down the pipes as of late.
