When I told him guys from ohio were coming back to play SuperNOVA 2, he fixed the pads as much as he could (He had like only 2 sensors left). So he usually gets on it whenever he can, or when he does get a chance to. We did clean out the inside of both sides like a month ago, it could use another good cleaning, and the 1P side fixed up (the bottom sensor on the up arrow).

Pad wise, 1P side, up arrow needs to be stomp to register and the left arrow tends to stick 5/10. The 2P side is in good condition 8/10. Game wise, its perfect, no freezes here.
I play there almost everyday after school with some friends, let me say that 1 buck will get you 8 tokens and you need 2 to play so $1=4 plays

I don't remember exactly which arrows don't work too well, but there's at least one arrow on each side of the pad that drops freeze arrows. The pads are sticky, which is a real pain for me because I kind of rely on being able to slide a little bit when I play.
And the right speaker and lights (facing the machine) are broken, so they try to compensate by increasing the volume on the left speaker. I think they have been since the start of the year. University doesn't want to spend the money to fix them I guess, since they don't get too much play time.

All I got around here in Jacksonville is a crapload of Extreme machines and Extreme and Supernova at both Adventure Landings which I can't drive to anyways until I'm 16. Now I hope my parents adopt that girl fast, maybe I can get her into DDR and use her as an excuse to go play? XD

Then, another mall, SN2. Bad screen configs, since the drive seems to upscale it a <little> bit too much, but otherwise, A-OK.
And yet another mall that is slightly farther... SN2! CHA! Oh, and in perfect condition.

Total Tokens: 2,663.09 Donate Tokens | the one in our mall is DDR EXTREME, the screen is beautiful, it looks brand new, and the lights and everything else work fantastic, the sound is good too.
Then you look at the pads and realize... this is a namco machine. It had literally Red and Blue arrows, which are the dead giveaway. They also use the namco sensors, and those are so bad where ever they get those from, that the machine will break it literally 5 minuted once new sensors are installed.
Oh and there are only 10 stores left in our mall, over 3/4ths of the mall has shut down.

Axis, you are so lucky. Most of the machines around my house are crappy Extreme machines which have that freeze bug in which they stop while play "catch up" with the beats later on once they unfreeze.
Only good machines are probably the supernova ones at Adventure Landing but they probably either don't have bars or maybe they are perfect condition considering Adventure Landing around here takes pride in most things.

The NEAREST mall to me used to have this Extreme machine that hung up on a few songs. Problem was, the bug was on A LOT of the popular ones (e.g. Look to the Sky). Our arcade clan gradually stopped playing it until only those who thought they'd give it a spin would play. So they moved it out. The team lamented for it, but what can we do, right? So the only things we could play are PPP1 and DM 5th. Recently, they added GF 6th for Session mode, but I hardly see the clan there anymore. *sighing fit*

Total Tokens: 621.29 Donate Tokens | Lets see. As far as I know there is only 2 machines where I live. I live in a medium sized town called Wilmington, N.C.
There's this place called jungle rapids that has a descent sized arcade, water park, drop tower, go-karts, laser tag, jungle gym, jungle golf(put-put), rock wall and cafe. They have one DDR machine. its an extreme and is getting worse as time goes on. The 1p side is not bad but the 2p side is crappy. There's two beaches about 15 and 50 minutes away. Unfortunately the 50 min drive is the one which has a DDR machine and its a max 2 and Ive yet to go myself. There's a PUI that works good though...

Total Tokens: 2,663.09 Donate Tokens | I might call my mall and see if they are interested in selling their EXTREME machine. Everyone knows that machine is crap. I get asked at school if I play at the mall, and a few of my friends always tell me dont, because the machine sucks.
Its owned by a family, so I am not sure how low they will let the machine go. They also may be renting it, but I dont think so because I am sure by now they would have returned it and would have said it is too much of a hassle to deal with.
Its still in there too. Everytime I see a movie, you can tell the machine has not been touched. It also seems to enjoy eating people tokens now, and taking a VERY long time to load select songs.
Think I may take a trip down there Saturday to talk to the manager...

Anyone thinks this is a good idea? All the players have my support but I'm afraid if something goes wrong.

Total Tokens: 621.29 Donate Tokens | The guys that used to own the arcade in the mall near me were selling there Extreme (that place closed down) for like 8,000$ or something like that. They wanted to update but never did. Luckily most of the people who worked there played DDR so they used to let us put Windex on the pads to keep from slipping and they used to clean the pads some. They were also selling a Dance Maniax machine which I don't think even worked...
