Its owned by a family, so I am not sure how low they will let the machine go. They also may be renting it, but I dont think so because I am sure by now they would have returned it and would have said it is too much of a hassle to deal with.

Its still in there too. Everytime I see a movie, you can tell the machine has not been touched. It also seems to enjoy eating people tokens now, and taking a VERY long time to load select songs.

Think I may take a trip down there Saturday to talk to the manager...
just be aware that they'll probably expect to pay as much for it as it cost them to buy (so, close to $6K). a good idea is to come up with a list of how much all the problems will cost to fix (monitor is like 300, pad repairs are close to that as well, a new cd and cd drive will be $100 or less). you can also try to include shipping costs in getting him to lower the price of it.

if he refuses to bargain at all, you can also find ebay auctions of machines going for much, much less.

ya, Thats what i was planning to do. I am going to go see Indiana Jones On Saturday, so i will stop at the arcade and see what is wrong this time. Also if you ever heard of Charlestowne mall, thats where it is. The only store that I can think is still worth stopping into is the $1 store (they sell red bull for $1!), and Zumiez. When they first got the machine It was alot of fun, but since they just stopped caring for it...

Also its not helping that the mall is almost extinct.

As far as I've played out here in North las Vegas, The DDR SN Arcade machine in the Santa Fe Station Casino works pretty well. The pads work perfectly besides you need a bit of pressure for the Freeze notes (But that seems normal actually).

It has all of the songs Unlocked for play, even the Boss songs of SN. And whe you figure the Cost to play, its a Quarter per song.

I still want to try SN2.

OK so I finally talked to the "Fun World" arcade manager and here's how our conversation went:

Me: Asks bunch-o-questions

Manager: We clean the cabinets once every two weeks and the pads once a month. We cannot change the settings because that is the boss's (guy who owns every fun world arcade) decision, not mine. (I wanted to turn on "fail at end of song"). We cannot upgrade to SN because that's the boss's decision, so we'll get SN when he decides it's time to. Besides, the current EX machine we have now is only half a yr old, before this we have 4th mix. (Damn). We cannot move the loud drum machine next to the DDR machine because that was my decision and I like it that way, it makes more money. (The conv. gets long but u just witnessed the most important part of it)

Me: *says thank you and leaves*

thats how most conversations go when I talk about upgrading, and moving machines. I am still going to call the manager about Gameworks, I heard it right next to the bar area, and there was already beer spilled on the pads before.

its pretty much the one in that ebay auction on another thread.

OMG, IS IT TIME FOR ME TO REJOICE? YES!!!!

I just found out that the Adventure Landing near my house that I never go to upgraded their Extreme Arcade Machine to Supernova 2.

No e-amusement chance though. T_T

I play it, kind of sucked , but I loved it sense it was perfect...I also hurt my toe/toenail. T_T

Our Japanese SN2 was swapped to another amusement branch and brought back the old brand new SN1 cabinet with SN2 US Version software... So It feels like new again... the pads are very fresh....

Ours is kind of like that. It had the Supernova cabinet yet the sign says Supernova2. I think Bemanistyle needs to change the location for it from Supernova to Supernova 2. I'm only guessing that the other Adventure Landing upgraded theirs also but that is assuming. =\

dude Zohan was the most racist movie I have ever seen.

I wish I could have asked about the DDR machine before they left. They never said they were closing either, and there was no signs either.

It was, but the mixture of Fizzy, Hummus, Adam Sandler, and the hair cut f**k was funny as heck.

I don't know why they don't get a new one at ours, or even just fix this one. The right button doesn't work anymore on both players and all the other buttons are kind of crappy.
