I'm thinking about taking a day out to just repair the damn thing. there's no cameras, and i need something to play on. i'll look up the price for sensors and what not and probably act accordingly.
other than that, we've got an SN at a Brunswick Zone in a playable condition, a SN and ITG2 in HORRENDOUS condition because the staff is no longer there, apparently some chinese buffet has a brand new SN cabinet, and Tee-Time has an ITG2 Dedicab and a DDR Extreme machine both in perfect working order. oh, and i'm sure Six Flags still has their two janky machines. we've heard rumors of an SN2 that's been en route since February, but i think i'll make the trip to Naperville when I go to chicago next weekend.

It is DDR 2ndMix... but unfortunately, it sucks...(it really sucks!)
The sound might be loud but the game itself is sooooo outdated... and the pads feel like sinking... and sometimes, the game doesn't start up....

Anyway, heres a picture of a typical Saturday afternoon in my arcade. So easy to get a crowd going. (Guy was playing Healing Vision Standard Double). Sorry for the awful phone picture, I got bored waiting for my turn and decided to take a picture. | |

Pad are really sinking... and I had enough of playing it since 1999!

I found a SuperNOVA in Cincinnatti that was in a newly-opened water park that played well and held freezes ONLY on the 2P side. Looks like I'm going back to Cincinnati!
BTW this hasn't been added to ddrfreak yet. =|

All are in perfect condition and the screen is brillant when playing SN2.
While the second-hand cabs that run SN2 are generally shitty in my country.
In short, only the brand new cabs are worth playing IMHO.

Figures though...cause the arcade it's in (the one inside Fairoaks Mall) is owned by the people who own the pizza shop across from it, and they don't really care for it that much.

The pads are generally unresponsive (due to the machine being an old 3rd Mix cabinet that the sensors haven't been replaced on) and every time the machine is turned on in the morning, the GTC RAM is cleared out, meaning all the unlocks and high scores are wiped. That means the arcade operators (or myself) have to go in and put the unlock code back in EVERY SINGLE DAY.
We have an ITG2 at a movie theatre here and it works fine, except it's really quiet. Other than that the only other games we have are a Pump It Up Exceed 2 and a Pump It Up NX

First up is Cyber Zone (now GameTown)
DDR SN2: It's farely good. Pads used to be like a ship deck, they are fixed now. But the up and right arrows on P2's side suck.
Pads on the Extreme (used to be a 5th mix) are good.
Next PeterPiper by my house
MegaMix (yes a bootleg): P1 pad is excelent, however there is a glare on the screen. P2's pad, sucks.
And now, GameWorks
DDR Ex: Poor. Both pads suck.
DDR SN2: P2's pad is slowly loosing supports and wobs a bit (ever since they took out the carpetting). The sound is low, but I know the arcade tendants, so turning it up is not a problem at all.
