Like IIDX, Konami should increase the rating to 12, but ITG did that already. Konami now owns the rights to ITG, so meh.
ahahaha, that's adorable.

Uh... which one? The one from Extreme i can do spins during "hard part", like da-da, d-d-d-da, where there's like 16th or w/e DX its just a spin, and if you do it with the spin, its a piece of cake I can't think of anything else that would make it hard, but i think Long Train Runnin' is kinda like how Under The Sky is a 6, because the beginning is a piece of cake, but then they surprise you with a 7-8 footer type stream near the end. The one in SuperNova isn't hard at all.

Edit: After looking at the step charts, the song has a lot of off beats, but they all go with the song itself very well, so once you have the song in your head, it shouldn't be horrible And yeah the one part i was talking about would be the only tough part i could see for a 7, because you kinda have to do the spin else you have to position yourself for each part before you get there lol Maybe a hard 7 approaching an 8 but i don't feel its quite the 8, and not harder than SunKiss drop.

Let's put a person new at 7s after doing maybe As at best on 6 footers. I can't really think of any 6 footers that compare to either of these (for complexity of steps like Long Train Runnin' and speed/stamina/crossovers/420 steps that SunKiss Drop asks for, so both are just hard for 7s when compared to stuff like Freckles KCP and many older 7 step songs.)

Why was Sakura rated as a 10 footer in the first place? >_>

I believe it is probably because at the time, the speed combined with the steps makes it look like a 10 footer, but they changed it to a 9 in Supernova 2. -.-

I guess Sakura was the only 10 footer at its time that I could beat but now since it's a 9....*sigh* Back to the old drawing board.

Sakura was likely rated a 10 because of speed and difficulty to read the first time you play it. The speed changes would likely fail people that are at a skill level where they are just barely able to pass 10s.

I disagree with it being made a 9 but hey, whatever. Not a big deal.

I think it's a 10 because of the speed change and they wanted it to be a boss song.

So Sakura is like Xepher, Maximizer, and Arrabbiata since they all should have a 10 yet they have 9 for Heavy/Expert? I wish that Sakura was still a 10 footers because that is the only one I could pass with a C or B. Hell, once I got an A.

I also got a question about Sunkiss Drop...

To unlock ~jun's side~ JP version, do you have to go to sort, spell out SUNKIS in the ABC order, and then go select the song?

... what? Xepher Challenge is a 10, Expert is most certainly a 9. MAXIMIZER is an 8.

I find SAKURA is a 9 at most. It's on par with the current generation of 9's, not counting the likes of PARANOiA ~HADES~.

Don't forget Follow the Sun. On 3rd Mix and 4th Mix, it is a 7, and it is really tiring, at 170 bpm, lots of 8th note jumps.

Yeah, SUNKiSS DROP should be a 9...

I think of Sunkiss Drop to be like a longer version of Under The Sky's end. It does deserve 8-9 status though because those are some annoying crossovers.

EDIT: I just played it again af ew times today. I agree it definitely is underrated. I could barely keep up at first but the bar helped me a lot during the crossovers. Besides the 9-footer crossover streams, the song would rate about a 7-footer normally.

Sakura is still a 10 on doubles. I think that the expert is 9 and challenge is 10 now, but I don't really remember, haven't checked it for awhile. Doesn't really make much sense.

Sunkiss Drop is pretty difficult for a 7. I wish that the Jun version had different steps.

This has been discussed at Zenius-I-Vanisher:
Sunkiss Drop's difficulty is comparable to Can't Stop Falling in Love -Speed Mix- (a 9 footer)

Sunkiss Drop:
-185 BPM
-442 steps
-24 jumps
-CROSSOVERS

CSFILSM:
-170 BPM
-443 steps
-26 jumps
-CROSSOVERS

IT'S A NINE!!!!!!

Such a comparison fails to account for step placement. CAN'T STOP FALLIN' IN LOVE (Speed Mix) features three long jackhammers and sixteenths mixed in with jumps following immediately.

Whereas SUNKiSS DROP can largely be played facing the same direction and not moving too much, just hitting the same three arrows over and over. I agree it's too hard for a 7, and if the step placement was different it could easily be a 9, but it's monotonous enough to be an 8.

There's a couple weird transfer spots closer to the end of the song that either require an awkward double steps or switching feet. I agree about the comparison between CSFILSM and Sunkiss Drop. Definetly either a hard 8 or an easy 9.

Not a bad song.

In fact, this is one of her better songs (instead of her vocals on the first version of Reminisence of IIDX15 which didn't sound too goo IHMO)
