Ah so they're selling it now.

I've been to Mesa Golfland 3 or 4 times over the last couple years. It really didn't seem to be that crowded at all, though probably cause I went in January during the school week...

I'm not surprised; it's been at $0.25 for how long?

Well I might end up showing up this coming Friday, so if your up for it, I'll bring my memory card, I just don't know how were gonna get our data off of it since I live half-an-hour from my PS2, unless you live nearby. But I don't think you will be challanged by my scores, more than I will be extremely challenged by yours. Still, it will be good to have Rival data on my memory card though.

So is there word of any plan to fix the GF/DM machines or are they just going to let them rot in the back room? That would make me sad. Especially after JUST upgrading them both, too -- I can't believe that they would abandon their investment so quickly.

I'm sure they are doing something to fix them, but since DM/GF are not native to America, they're probably importing the broken parts. That or the quote above me

Well, I'm not entirely ruling out the possibility that they're not going to perform any costly repairs. The managements' dislike for expensive import music games and how they want to open up floor space for stupid ticket games isn't exactly a secret these days.

I hope they fix them, though.

I think in all the time I've gone to MGL, those two games have had the longest downtime. And half the time that they work, it's not properly. Every time I see the GF up and running, it always breaks my heart to see the snare is fucked up again.

Maria...(i believe). What sorta of fucking timing?! LOL I was laughing really hard when I literally had to ignore the song from SuperNOVA. The steps were badly off sync. Again hopefully the upgrades will be excellent. It's like they created a IIDX 9th Style AC version for NOVA.

I know that the complete new engine running in the machine makes it better with graphics and all. But they should have just adapted with the same running engine from Extreme. Oh well. And hopefully the next version that comes out. They can eliminate the character idea, or at least have a OFF setting.

Does anyone here think that it would be worth my while to drive from E border of New Mexico to come to Mesa Golfland just to see what it's like? (and to finally play on a IIDX RED arcade machine?)
