Quick thanks to everyone who came down for the Stepmania Mods Tournament. A little late with the start, but it was worth it in the end because of the eventual turnout.

Same goes for the Twinkle Star Sprites tournament, which was completely nuts. We ARE having another tourney for that game somewhere down the line (or I'm gonna haveta choke a vast quantity of bitches).

I freaking hate tornado. If I could have read that, I might have had a better chance.

It's too bad I couldn't stay for the Twinkle Star Sprites tournament. I definitely have to go to the next one (if there is one), but I'll have to actually get good, first.

The Atlantis stepmania cabinet is bar none the better one of the two. The 2p 7 key has been fixed (although the turntable is still pretty stiff), and yes....Maximum Tune 3

This thread hasn't seen a lot of activity recently, but hopefully, that will all change!

Literally about an hour ago, the Atlantis Fun Center has just received the machines that we, the local arcade community, have been waiting so patiently for... IIDX GOLD and Pop'n Music 14! (Thanks to upper management for moving so slowly when it comes to acquiring these machines, lololololol sarcasm)

I hope to see you all there! I'm going to play me some Ghostbusters. :x

On that note, a special freeplay Bemani night is in the works with management for the arcade, probably before the end of the year. Expect tournaments for Pop'n, IIDX, and StepMania AC, most likely some food, and a whole night of great rhythm games.

Now we just need GFDM there and get Dance Maniax out of our garage and there as well and the Atlantis would be quite a good place for music gaming.

I was at Atlantis over Christmas and delightfully surprised to see IIDX and pop'n there.
Haven't been in Atlantis for like 2 years and I come back to find those two machines, lol. First time I got to play IIDX and pop'n at the arcades.

I even took pictures of me hugging the machines in the morning before I left.
Got a few funny looks from people, hahaha.

so yeah no one cool came to the atlantis for gold. The only people playing the machine were playing Beginner and Normal+AS respectively.

Then there was me demolishing the local original course on another.

I was sad. :<

Um, the Atlantis doesn't have e-Amuse, they just didn't take off the card readers. It's a Beat Free machine, though, so all the e-Amuse exclusives are unlocked.
