Pop'n is a no (as of the moment. Golfland has been trying to get one from quite some time), and the only place I've seen Taiko at was the Seattle Gameworks.

If you're looking for Bemani stuff, though, Mesa Golfland is the place to go. It's been a while since I've been to Castles and Coasters, but I think all they had was DDR Extreme (on a really big screen), and SuperNOVA 1.

sweet, thanks for the tip, will go and check golfland out on sunday hopefully =)

any good place other than Game Works in Arizona Mills for Sega's UFO catcher? if anyone play that?

I do play most Bemani stuff... (just not good at them) and lots of other games like Gundams, lightgun type (Time crisis/virtual cop/house of dead), most car racing (battle gear, initial D, wangan) Taiko just isn't as good without using the arcade controller..... I used to live in Tucson and there is NOTHING there at all.... I saw a wangan at a movie theatre in phoenix... my hopes are going up I think I'm starting to love phoenix! XD

Oh, you'll definitely love Golfland They have Initial D 3/4, Time Crisis 3/4 (they moved 1 and 2 upstairs to the party room, last I knew), and two House of the Dead... uhh... with some numbers in the title.

Last I saw the machines, they were upstairs. It's the area they only give access to for parties/events/whatnot, so I don't think you'll have any luck getting to play it (I dunno, maybe if you ask nicely).

awesome! I just went there Sunday!
that V4 was definitely well maintained, and unlike the one that I played in Hong Kong, I can actually HEAR the music!
I'm definitely going there more often now! lol

I was there around 2-4:30pm or so, did some time crisis 3 and 4, and only had a bit of guitar freaks tho since my friends didn't really wanna play it =(

I just went there today again, the drum mania machine broke =( I just bought some drum sticks hoping that I can try that game out since I've never played any drummania other than the first one (the first first one... not DMV lol...) The Guitar freaks machine seems to work, but the buttons seems to have gotten either stuck or non-responsive for a little bit....

Nice to know since I'm moving from Phoenix to Tucson in August. Damnit! I'll miss MGL. Maybe it'll be worth the hour and a half drive once I realize how boring it is in Tucson.

you'll have the following choice for arcade.....
Golf and stuff, the most arcade machines you can get in Tucson.....
Gameworks in foothills mall, newer machines usually, it has guitar freaks 1 (no, not V1, it's 1! cutie pie happy man XD)
and funtastick, well, kinda crappy arcade... has f-zero AX..... the go karts are faster than the golf and stuff ones....

and all the movie theatres... that's it =(

it's probably better for you to save up your money and do the drive from Tucson to Phoenix once in a while XD

my friend just informed me that the newly opened sega sports grille in tucson has taiko no tatsujin. Not too sure what version that is, but from a picture that she took, it looks like it has JAPANESE songs

I just checked the picture again, they have PEACH in the outside cover of the machine.... that's taiko 11! oO

With Castles n Coasters (CnC), you'll find Extreme and In the Groove 2 with r21 next to it. For racing games, there's Wangan ver. 3 and Initial D ver. 4. As far as other bemani goes, ddr is pretty much the only bemani game there. There's also Time Crisis 3 along with House of the Dead 1 and 4.
