Stier had the great idea of having a single thread for all our Phoenix-y Bemani stuff, and I figured I'd kick it off. I'll update this again for exact prices/versions on games, as well as hours of operation.

If neu is unlocked (I seem to remember someone mentioning playing it), that's pretty much it.
Otherwise, you can tell at a glance by looking at the title screen - it'll say "MAX" on the top-left (IIRC) corner of the screen.

Too bad Phoenix doesn't actually have anything worth mentioning to play. East side or bust...

The best thing the west side of the 17 had going for it was the big screen DDR at CnC when DDR was being noticed mainstream.

On a totally unrelated note: Are Sonic and Zero still around?

As far as music games go no. They stop playing hardcore pretty much the time extreme die down. Zero played fax max and almost AAA it and that was that. I know that the both of them got more into there music and that was the last thing I heard about them.

No they grew up pretty much.

Sonic DJed Happy Hardcore in the Valley for a while then disappeared

Yeah I pretty much stopped with the DDR scene not long after the Southwest Showdown at Fiddlesticks. I remember when Vans Skatepark at Metro had the West Valley's first DDR competition. Konami ruined it for me by letting DDR get stagnant for too long. I don't see much of the people I used to play with anymore. Kudos to him for DJing Happy Hardcore! Great music!

Back to topic: If Gameworks gets the Guitar Hero AC I hope they stick it in some dark corner with the ticket games.

Speaking of guitar games, has anyone played Gameworks' V5 recently? Last I played (about a week ago), the buttons liked to ignore being pressed, and the right side's song-sorting-dial-thingie was shot. Curious if it's been fixed, but I don't play GF/DM enough to warrant checking it myself.

Edit - and the main post should be accurate. I'm just not sure how much ITG2 is per-play at MGL.
