FYI - the TROOPERS machine at MGL has drifted back to being off-sync. I'll be sure to go there some time when I know Russ will be there, so I can work with him on fixing that again >_>

I'm figuring it might've re-booted with the old settings or something. The actual point where the button needs to be pressed it's slightly above the red line where it should be at.

i was there today and it was off sync so i went back to my sync method of Sudden+ 290 and Hi-Speed 1.5, then i don't know was Russ did cause he was doing something on the top of the machine and i went back to play it i could go back to using regular settings again.

I don't know if anyone else notices this but every time i use regular settings (BPM 180-Hi-Speed 3.5 and so on) everything would jump/skip down and it messes me up big time to the point where i can't play it anymore

also does it make a difference(lol) if the Display Type is changed? (from A to B)

That was what I was going to suggest he change, and see if it improve the syncing at all. Are you saying the MGL Troopers is correctly timed now?

I can still AAA Machiko, but that's mostly because I have the chart memorized >_>

With any song that I'm not already really familiar with, I fall flat on my face. Really hinders my ability to play everything with Random on.

I went last Sunday to Gameworks and totally failed Hora de Verdad D|

Not to mention I felt pretty nervous because everyone else is like kickass at Pop'n, and I haven't played in a while >>;; (Not to mention I'm still struggling with 9 buttons)

Nearly everyone that plays Bemani around here is really approachable, and more than willing to give you advice on how to play better ^^

i was there that friday night and there was a shitload of people watching (especially when i played Super Mario Bros. BGM) and some other pop'n player was making fun of me cause i use Jean as my main character (hehehe) and also tried to say that he can get a better score on IDM Hyper (i alreay had a 95k score) in the end he was just full of shit...

Jodler EX is a super fun chart...

I'd heard peoples were planning on being at Gameworks on Saturday. Any hinting at the time?

Best that could be done with Troopers was to have it annoyingly (but playably) off-sync : /

I think MGL and Gameworks should merge together like the forum threads, so we can have Troopers running on Gameworks' hardware and at Golfland's prices.
