I've just made the biggest mistake of my life... I live in Australia but was going home to Europe for Christmas. I had a choice of a stopover in HK or Singapore. I've passed through Changi airport many times but have never stepped outside of it so I suggested we stop there. I've never been to HK. Then, a day later I hear of an upgrade in many arcades to IIDX Gold in HK. Waah. Life isn't fair (though our local arcade has confirmed that we are getting Gold, and we are giving our 10th style game and cabinet to another arcade).
You HK guys are lucky... I don't even think there IS a IIDX machine in Singapore.  | |

Parco Bugis Junction will be the first one I think in SG to get the game (Zone-X may take longer to acquire it).
In any case, if GOLD does arrive in Australia, it won't have e-amusement yet (it might be applied instead to the next version)

Surprisingly
HK is neat place to play BEMANI games. Heck, in fact, it is only one of LESS THAN FIVE COUNTRIES (outside Japan) that currently have access to e-amusement

Anyways, I hope that I can visit again sometime next year.
I'll probably go to Virtual Zone @ Telford Plaza Kowloon Bay or MK88 (which I think is somewhere in Mongkok...I think) or maybe X-land in Tsuen Wan if I have time

but most arcade centers are restricted to 16-and-up.
There ARE arcade centers with Taiko open to under-16s in Tsuen Wan,
but the drums there can happily eat all your notes.And they're

(I can't full-combo Hare Hare Yukai on -normal- with those drums!)
