Singapore Bemani Players Thread

As per the thread title, singapore players can post here...

To start things rolling, I play mostly DM and GF, casually, since as a student I don't really have much time. Trying to get into Pop N Music but there's only one machine and its a little far from where I stay.

Hope to meet more Bemani players from singapore...enjoy your stay here!

I was just going to make this thread but I noticed there's one already :<

I play mostly GFDM, but I occasionally play DDR, ParaParaParadise and Pop'n when available.

The one pop'n machine in singapore is at Marina Square right? Anyone else know of another oe?

There's one more at the Zone-X in Jurong Entertainment center. It's pop'n 13 I believe.

To VGD: There are other places with PnM.... Some of the Zone-X outlets have them.... But like what lstivate had said, the best one is at Jurong East Entertainment Centre (JEC), cos' it is the only place to play PnM 13 (which is the best mix besides PnM 14).... And.... ARGH! There is still no PnM 14! =(

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself! =P I usually play DMV2 and GFV2 at Dhouby Ghuat, cos' there is e-muse there.... My e-muse nick=darkarn for DMV2 and darkX for GFV2.... I go to JEC for my PnM fix.... And I swear not to touch any PnM machines that is below PnM 13.... Cos' there are'nt any good songs in the older mixes....

UPDATE: Yesterday, I played on PnM 13, and found out that the green button on the left side is a bit unresponsive... Be careful, it cost me at least 3 no bads... =(

UPDATE! Hey guys, if you look into the Digital Life supplement from the Straits Times, our Drummania community and the top player(VOIDDD!) were featured in a report about arcade games.... Nice job guys! =)

I'm from JB, and there doesn't seem to be any PnM machines here.

There used to Pop'n Music 3 in Jusco, I think...
But thanks for telling me about PnM 13 in JEC! I sometimes go to Singapore, so I might visit it.
I've never tried arcade PnM before. Just Playstation all the time...

I'd assume you have the original Popn controller for the Playstation? My friend's considering getting one, and if yours is the original version, what are your comments on it? Is it any good?

I use the Playstation 2 controller, which is why I'm looking for an arcade machine.
I tried asking the shops in Funan IT Mall for the Popn controller, but they didn't have it.

Using the PS2 controller isn't all bad though. It's still very fun.

Ah...I see...my friend's actually interested and he just wants some comments before actually getting one. Anyway, he's found a few deals over in JB, namely Holiday Inn area...so if you're interested you could check out that place. That's where he got his official IIDX controller too.

Btw, DM noob here. Never play GF since my ring finger is a piece of rock. Frequently go Bugis, rarely go DBG and CCK and JEC.
