I heard some good and bad stuff 'bout the new 4-panel dance simulator. For example : Lots of people argued about the synch. on most of the (300+) songs.
I haven't had the chance to give the new machine a test-ride, so I can't tell much about it yet. But for those who had a chance to groove on the new DS/DDRSN, share you experience and feedback.
Let's keep it a good clean thread. Discuss!

What? CHAOS only has a 10-foot Heavy? It can't be played in other modes?
Nevertheless, I so want to test Fascination MaxX Light... just to get used to the 100-200-400 BPM shiftings.
I don't have tested this little wonder yet, however I know there is one located in Paris, in the "La Tête Dans Les Nuages" (Head in the Clouds) arcade station. I'm going there this weekend, I hope I will dance on it if it's not getting overcrowded.
If I ever manage to try it I'll share my experience, I promise!

I like all the new and old tracks, but I think it is RE-synched, not off sync. I think Konami did something to the old songs and now they seem offsync, but I don't have a problem with them.
I haven't got ES or OMES yet though

Old songs (appearing in white in the songlist) seem a tiny bit offsync sometimes (A, which I often play, surely is) but it's not a total disaster and it's still totally playable.
I can't wait either for konami to release unlock codes or whatever will let us play boss songs in normal play
Other than that, SN is just great, I like it

I've not been 'into' DDR for years now, but still, it's good to see that Konami actually pulled their finger out on this one. Bit of a shame that it doesn't seem to be as widespread as EM2, but that's hardly surprising when that still rakes in stupid amounts from the townie kids who know no better.
