Yes, it has come to this! I have tried to show them for many many years, but unfortunately none of my friends give a shite about Beatmania!

I want....no, need to play some Beatmania with someone who appreciates it! It has now come to the time for me to ask here...anyone fancy a game? I live in London and want to know if anyone is in a similar position!

Oh, and forgive me if this sounds kinda like a lame dating service message!

I move to London on the 2nd of September, and although I don't really play much anymore I'm still up for a spot of notesmash here and there.

Plenty of us Bemani fags in London... whereabouts exactly are you M4j3s7ic12? Problem is that there isn't exactly much Bemani in the arcades (Aside from DDR there is: a broken Beatmania 3rd, A GF 1st, ParaPara 2nd and Drummania V).

True, I was thinking more in terms of some home playing, I have a JP PS2, a few styles and a KOC! I live in Teddington, which is in zone 6, but travelling about is no problem! Once I sort out a new TV my place is open...

Dammit, there it goes again, sounding like an arse searching for lovers or something! Heh, seriously though, I am just interested in meeting up with some likeminded people for a game or two!

Between us all in the new household, we will have 4 JPN-capable PS2s, multiple copies of every IIDX style (and 5key BM mix), 3 ASCs, 5 KOCs, 4 DJ Station Pros, and a couple of original ASCII pads for good measure! I think it's safe to say we'll be fairly well set up if anyone does decide to pop round for a spot of Beatmania

I've also got a DTXtreme IIs, for Drummania fun, and we have two GF ASCs on order ^_^

Seeing as this thread is for London players I have a quick question for you guys.. Well before I went to Japan about 2 months ago I used to play Drummania in Trocadiro as this was (and still is) the only place I know of that has a machine.... Whilst in Japan I got even more hooked on DM and obviously a short while after I came back I went to Trocadiro for some play time... To my dissapointment the machine was broken and to my knowledge still is.... It's been off for like a month maybe more..... Basically I was wondering if anyone knows somewhere I can play. :'(

Barry Island, nr. Cardiff, has a Percussion Freaks 3rd Mix, IIRC. Otherwise there is NO other Drummania AC mix in the UK.

Does anyone have any idea what Trocadiro are planning on doing with that Drummania machine? Just leaving it there to taunt people is really annoying me. lol

For now I guess I'm stuck with my KOC..... Joy....... ; ;
