I've heard the same sort of "Trocadero is getting xxxxxxx" rumours that seem to circulate every few months recently again, but I take everything I hear about the place with a truckload full of salt - not that I don't trust my sources, but rather the Troc management themselves, especially not after trying to deal with them myself in the past.
I have no idea what the plan for DM is, but it's fucking ridiculous that they've left it this long. You're right ronok, it did actually make a fair bit of money and you'd often see passers-by sticking in a quid or two on the basis that it's quite a cute little gimmick. Quite a few of the regulars were getting pretty hot at it too, so why they've neglected to get it repaired is somewhat beyond me. Sigh. |
