In fact, all it needs is my Guitar Freaks ASC to arrive (which will make 2 in the household), and the X-RGB3 upconverter (so we can play on the 40" LCD wall mounted TV), and life will be perfect...
Seizuremania: The machines in the Troc are in shit condition, and have been for years. AFAIK, SFA3 is working, but I wouldn't like to swear on the quality of the joysticks and buttons on the Versus City cabs there. Beatmania has been playing up for months, so you'll be taking your chances, I'm afraid! | ok definatly not going if thats the case!
you have zero 2 in your kitchen (T_T) is this your house?

O: so you say the X-RGB3 actually helps the lag?
| Yes (it is the up-converting in the TV that gives 4-5 frames additional lag). It won't remove it, but it gets it down to a frame or two at most, from all reports. I'm waiting for it to arrive so we can test it first hand!
The lag on the Sony Bravia range isn't too bad, but certainly enough to notice when playing IIDX (and videos with white backgrounds fuck up the picture - this doesn't happen when e.g. playing Happy Sky on PC, connected with a standard D-Sub).
It ain't cheap though, be warned... it cost me $275 with shipping T_T Quote: |

| Zero 2 Alpha.
No, not my house as such. We (fuse, me and two other gamer fags) are just renting it.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | You should email the arcade owners. I emailed Hollywood Bowl (Stevenage) about SuperNOVA and the week after they had one!
And also, a few days ago I was in a shop called Gamestation and I was looking at the pre-owned PS1 games to see if they had any imported DDR games, when I stumbled across a Beatmania European Edit for £3. I bought it in a flash, but then realised that I would probably need to buy a turntable.
So I might start importing stuff. But hey, it's actually pretty fun with a Dual-Shock. Can't beat any 5's though. Metal Gear Solid -MAIN THEME- is my limit

I went there over the summer and played an absolutely obscene amount of credits, the problem is the monitor decided to go all 2002 on me: a tiny hole appeared on the first day I was there, and it just kept getting bigger as phosphors around it fizzled out and died :\ by the end about 60% of the screen had been consumed, so I had to use the LED marquee to pick songs which was a tremendous PITA.
Also the old displays suck horribly; at 155BPM / HS4 the notes are way too faint at the speed they travel, so I have to mess around with Sud+. Still very very fun though.

Glad to see you're still keeping Italy well-supplied ******M! We're still behind the times as ever, and the Troc won't even maintain the one good machine (DM V) it does have :/
