Materazzi's responce to this is "I'm sorry, i'm not very cultured and I don't even know what an islamic terrorist is" so i've got alot of doubt about that... according to the italian as well, Zidane also talked a bit, we'll see in a bit, its suposed to be today when Zidane makes his press statement, regardless, even if I was not an italian citizen, what he did was inexcusable, over words? C'mon... he had 10 minutes left in his career.
Not much to say actually. He said that he has been insulted several times, tried to ignore it, but failed at that and hit the guy. He wouldn't repeat the insults, but said they were about his mother/sister and were serious enough.
Finally, although he does not regret what he did, he was sorry about it and asked little boys from all over the world to not do this at home.
Though I think he deserves more than a headbutt considering the insults... and what they're about X_x Oh come on... it's a game! Why bother insulting a fellow player's relatives? *sigh*
