Anyway, we now have:
DDR SuperNOVA 2 - NEW CABINET
Guitar Freaks/Drum Mania V4
beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD
pop'n music 9
By Friday, we'll upgrade to:
beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD
pop'n music 15 Adventure
So... I submit to you: SOON TO BE FOR SALE:
beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD Hard Disk Drive + Dongle => $200 ONO (not incl. shipping).
NB: No header/marquee or any advertising components. Strictly HDD + dongle.
pop'n music 9 Hard Disk Drive => $50 ONO (not incl. shipping).
NB: No header/marquee or any advertising components. Strictly HDD. Pretty sure you don't need a dongle -- since we don't have one.
Works as is or your money -- incl. shipping money -- back (well, I'd need you to send back the gear, but you know what I mean)!
If I don't receive a reply within two weeks, I'll throw this in the Marketplace.

de Janeiro!
Anyways, it still depends on whether or not you require hardware upgrades from DD > GOLD. If you do, no upgrade (at least, not for a whiles).

box hill is full of try hards
i remeber walking in there wiping the floor with a bunch of tekken heads who talk it up on the forums but in real life there average at best an having them refuse to play me anymore going an complaining an getting me turfed off the machine so the "regulars' could play it
by "turfed' i mean the attendent came an switched it off at the outlet mid game .... no refund no nothing
dunno about there bemani though didnt stick around giving that place aymore of my cash an i certainly wouldnt go back to a place like that when they treat customers that way
the operator an tech guy there are to of the biggest drongo's you will ever meet there well known knob heads on aussiearcade.com.au if mark hasnt banned them by now
i seriously wouldnt buy anything from them 2nd hand if i was you mate god knows how bad of shape it could be in , they both are suspended from the trading section of the above forum for lets say 'dodgey' sales in the past | |

Yes, the Tekken players are shit and that's why you go there on a Tuesday and kick their butts.
What time did you go when this incident occurred? It doesn't sound like something the owner would do; sounds like something the younger staff would do. Let me know and I'll chase it up.
You can't label them as dodgy dealers without saying ALL Australian arcade owners are dodgy dealers. NO.
You can't say otherwise. ALL arcades in operation in Australia deal with either Zax Amusements or their own private dealers who are usually shady Hong Kong operators (Timezone is the exception to the rule; they get most games through their own "inside" sources. Doesn't really matter since they don't really target the actual average arcade demographic).
So unless you have firm backings up of these details, I am going to take them with a grain of salt.
And, yes, if it was up to me, I would start my own damn arcade gaming distribution operation and keep Zax off the market.
b00gey: Having problems installing the new IIDX and Pop'n. Yes, they require a new PCB kit and, no, I don't have a spare $2000 at the moment -- but I'm working on it!
