They use swipe cards, so a person goes and loads 20 on their card or something then just swipes and it gets deducted, so people dont really care if games are 1.05 or whatever

usb is up and working now. I've put a fun twin bee double steps edit on ^_^

The 0.20 is to convince people to register so they can get even cheaper games

What? You think it's a rip off that randoms have to pay a little bit more so regulars can have cheaper games? And benefits like free games. Er ok. It's only $30 for VIP membership, it doesn't take people long to spend that... especially when you get a bonus for putting more on in one go.

Anyway speaking of weird amounts for games, Galaxy currently have DDRX listed at $1.52 for their weekday promotion. Now I'd be pissed it I was 2 cents short of a game wouldn't you? BTW we are matching any of their prices (though ours is a more sensible $1.50 haha)

And I did a full maintenance on the pads on Saturday ^_^ replaced some sensors and cleaned it all out. Will work on raising the arrows a bit next time, couldn't afford to put any more time into it than the 5 hours I did.

Anyways, since Timezone (Philippines) already brought in V6 in our country, the same would happen to you guys in Australia (only a matter of time)

Indeed, the long wait will soon be over........and the only waiting would come from long queues/lines of people wanting to play it when it comes. Just kidding hehe

P.S.
As usual, Timezone George Street will be first

im all for new updates and such, but we desperately need a IIDX machine (and to a less extent pop'n music) in Timezone.

Amanda, what needs to be said / done to convince managment to purchase a machine?

i might be back next week with some more edits if i feel like fixing up crappy ones ive made years ago so they actually are somewhat playable

Whoops, sorry Alex I haven't checked here in awhile.

I do keep mentioning these games to Kevin (pop'n, IIDX, jubeat) and hopefully he talks to John about it. Last time I tried to convince them to get ITG2 they told me that a petition would be a booster in deciding, but it would need at minimum of 30 people to sign. Now I knew I could get that many at a stretch, but it turned out people would rather complain about the lack of machine than sign/help me collect signatures.

A lot of it depends on what space we have, obviously the store is not enormous, but that's not to say we wouldn't like to shuffle some games off and get others in.

So if you want to start a petition that might help. Also if people are interested talking to Kevin directly about that interest might help too. But in the end John is the one that makes the decisions..
