I'm pleased to see that TGA continues to grow, but I do have a question. The one time I've visited TGA, which was before the move to northern Massachusetts, you had a Pop 'n Music machine (Carnival, I think). The list in the first post doesn't mention Pop 'n Music, and I was wondering what happened to it?

That is the list of machines they have recently obtained. I am not sure if they are on site at TGA yet or anything (I don't know this story at all...). And in case you are wondering, it was upgraded to Fever. No worries.

...and what are the "other surprises"?

Well, since I was there yesterday, I can say that none of the machines from Power Up are there yet. I did read from TGA's forums that they do plan on having all the machines up there by the beginning of September.

I guess this is a 5th mix machine that can be switched back and forth between Extreme and 5th mix. So they are getting one DDR machine and one ITG 2 machine. This will bring there dance game (arrow smashing) collection from 2 DDR machines and 1 PIU machine, up to 3 DDR machines, 1 PIU Zero, and 1 ITG 2 machine. That's 5 games. That's CRAZY! They plan on keeping all the dance games too.

All this info was from TGA's forums.

Ah, I see. My first trip to TGA was also my first chance to play Pop 'N Music, and I was hoping I would get a chance to play again the next time I'm able to get to TGA.

Edit:

The above post was added while I was typing this one. I didn't realize they had PIU as well. Evidently, I need to spend some time on TGA's forums and get my info up-to-date.

Every time I believe TGA has outdone itself for the last time, I am deeply humbled by the efforts that Andy and the TGA staff take to keep improving the location.

There are many good things to be said about the merger, but I'll contain my glee to the brand-new BM The Final, DDR 5th Mix, and the new DM mixes.

Machines are getting moved down next weekend as far as I know.
Extreme and 5th mix aren't in seperate cabinets. The internals from 5th are occasionally swapped into the extreme cabinet which does have memory card slots. 2nd mix link ver is also swapped in sometimes.
