Also, sticking to one point so you don't sound like a lobotomized hippie with ADD can't hurt either. You went from Disney's Rave to a badly-punctuated Strawberry Shortcake to ITG2 praise in one long run-on sentence.

My only question would be how sensitive would the pad be. I played one of those cheapo DDR plug-n-play knockoffs (the ones that look worse than DDR GB and for some reason have a pinball minigame that you play with your feet included), and I have to say that it just stank at detecting steps accurately. With Konami OFFICIALLY doing this, I dropped some of my suspicions, but still concerned about it..

I also wonder about that but i would like to see them make one that is on the dot and i too think that konami can make that happen so i probably will make a thread asking people about it because im not going to buy it.

Now. How in the hell would this ruin it? If anything, it's most likely to bring in more of a fanbase, which means it will garner MORE of Konami's attention in future. Call me insane, but last I heard, locating support for your product was far from "ruining it".
