Nintendo reveals Elite Beat Agents partial songlist and new details

As I remember it, this was part of the press package that Nintendo released with release dates for various games. This information was given along with Elite Beat Agents release date. Indeed, just read the first post and see that that's even what DJP said it is.

No offense, but "being new" doesn't mean your source of information is wrong. When a site is reporting something that's suposed to be a fact, it usuallly comes with a quote from a representatiive of a company or a press release of some sort. It's really easy to assume this is a made-up headline since it doesn't link to anything, doesn't have any indication of a person working for Nintendo or otherwise saying so, and this is the only site reporting it. If you say, "I know 'insiders' that say this is right, so fuck off," then you're just beating around the bush since you can't give us any concrete info. So I can understand why this guy got pissy, but retaliating with. "I KNOW INSIDERS TOO YOU'RE WRONG," is just as silly.

That being said, I would hope this pans out. Hardware Store would make a bitchin' Ready Steady Go counterpart. The two levels you could play at Comic-Con were apparently solid and still had the Ouendan charm of being ridiculously wacky.

I didn't receive a press release from Nintendo regarding this list. It was sent to me by someone that I trust in regards to news and information. That being the case, I've seen more evidence to point to this as "rumor and speculation" rather than fact, so I'll ammend the title. I've still seen no statements from Nintendo denouncing it as a fake, so I won't write it off as such.

...Yeah, because GAF is the same as GameFAQs. Except for the fact that people from IGN, 1UP, GameSpy, GameSpot, Sony (ie, David Jaffe), etc. go there. My insider source (Kobun Heat) is not only a Japanese gaming journalist, but he gets news and information from people at iNiS.

And what are you talking about? It's not rude when someone says that I'm spreading rumors, and when I point out the fact (yes, fact) that it is a rumor that no one can show is true, it's rude of me.

Stop being so horribly offended towards people telling you that since this is a rumor without any credible source, you shouldn't spread it.

Let's try this once more: it's not WHERE your sources came from that sounded suspicious. It's that your first post was basically this comic (and yes, I'm aware I sound immature using a friggin' comic to make my points, but perhaps humor is the key here.)

As for the "rumors" item: djp himself corrected some language in the first post that had a few of us (or at least myself) confused, and has since stated you seem to be in the right here. No need to get snarky. (And who was "spreading" this? I can't say I've seen many of us going "BOY HOWDY, LET'S FIRE UP THEM THERE INTERNETS AND TELL EVERYONE ABOUT ELITE BEAT AGENTS!")

I Really hope this is kinda like a joke, are they trying to beat ITG and Beatmania US to be the worst leicenced rythem game ever. Those songs dont just suck, Let them Move sounds like a masterpeice compared to any of them.

Well, it will have the Original game songs (and hopefully more) to keep it from being totally revolting and the other liecences are good choices, Locomation my Kylie is definatly the biggest suprised, followed by guns and roses.

Let's assume for a moment that the list presented here is real. What the fuck is wrong with it? Everything in the original was pop music, just in chingchongwingwong instead of English. How is this different from the original? Is the only reason people are hating on it that it lacks ? The reason I like the songs presented here is because I know what is being sung, and that lack of understanding was why I can't stand Ouendan (besides, you know, the fact that it's piss easy).
