Bat Country is the one I had in mind, yes. Those solos at the end would've put anything from the first game to shame and it still would've managed to be fun to play. My guess is that it would've been more expensive to license because it's their current single.

And I know Freezepop will be in GH2. We ALL know it. I just really don't care for them. To me, they'll always be the worst part of every Harmonix game.

Freezepop aren't really meant for Guitar Hero. Their songs are much better suited to Frequency/Amplitude.

They're more of a electronica group than rockers.

1.how would the solos have put 'anything from the first game to shame'? massive scaling? looks like someone didn't play behind the mask. and besides the scaling section, the solos sound rather tame.

2.bat country was released as a single before beast and the harlot.

3.them bones. i would've thought if any alice made it on there, it's be from the tripod album, when they had all the molasses bass. but i love alice in chains. winner is me.

They are making GH II for the PS3 btw. This was talked about awhile ago. I was told it might be released for the PS3, it might not be.

Honestly, I'm happy seeing A7X make it to the songlist, but Trashed and Scattered or Sidewinder would have been a better pick, IMO. That is, I personally think that they are better songs for a music game. Beast and the Harlot is more of one of those songs that you just rock out to.

Then again, maybe I'm just biased after seeing them live and not wanting to see one of the best performed songs overplayed.

but it's not for sure yet(as far as I know) I still hope they release for ps2.
as for beast and the harlot. I remember putting a request for it in the forum. if they put it in because of me. it will be awesome. if you wanna ruin my moment fine be an asshole. but yeah nice songlist so far. dream theater would be really nice. just gotta make some extremely hard songs. and the game will be great.

"You Really got Me" by Van Halen? wow, here's hoping that it's better then the Beatmania USA version....that'll stick it to Konami.

oh, and a Spinal Tap song? a cover band covering a fake band's song...sounds repetitive.
