Calling all people who want to be Simulation moderators!
I'm looking for new simulation moderators. Unfortunately due to a freak accident, all the paperwork I had written out for the old simulation moderators request got nuked in a terrible accident involving fire, and the urge to roast marshmallows.
As a result, all submissions were lost. If you submitted before, go ahead and retry. My standards are strict however, so be sure to be able to deliver on any of your promises. I need reliable, frequently online people, which will be able to do the job. If you think you’re up to the task, send me an email at dieKatze88@gmail.com and use the title "Bemanistyle Simulation moderator submission" and I will respond.
Next order of busyness is the default theme for Stepmania 4. The default theme for Stepmania 4 is commonly railed against because many people think its ugly. Well now is your chance to do something about it. AJ and I are looking for people to do graphical design work on Stepmania 4's default theme. If you’re interested in this, drop me a line at dieKatze88@gmail.com with the title "Stepmania 4 Theme Design" and I will respond to that.
Edit: I wasnt specific enough. I am looking for simfile moderators, as in the ones that moderate the simfile database, and keep bad files out, things like that.

I'm a great voice of reason, online frequently, generally knowledgable and would love to be a moderator, but I would like more specific details on "tasks" as a moderator for the simulation forum. | |

simfile moderators in specific. I think DDR Simulation has enough moderators to cover the entire bemanistyle board. | |

Don't know if this thread is too old to talk about this, but
I wouldn't mind.
I am online pretty much every day from 4pm to around 10:30 or midnight.
So, I'm online quite a bit. I guess.
I would also need to know more of what would be needed of me.
aka: Tasks, required hours, moderating, etc.
So if you need someone, sure. I'll do it for a while.

Yeah Im looking for one or two hours a day of people intelegent enough to be able to identify when someone is being an asshat.
Tasks you will be acomplishing:
Checking new songs in Simfile database
Removing bad comments (read: Deletion is up to the administrators as far as I know)
Marking or removing bad simfiles.
Simfile check for new features that are on the table just not implimented yet (soon, and by soon I probably mean whenever)
Tasks you will not be acomplishing:
Editing your tokens
Editing other peoples tokens
Boosting rating statictics for simfiles based on bias
Being offline of AIM for more than 3 consecuitve days without sending me an email (If you cant seem to get on aim, I can work something out)
Pissing DJ Paranoia or other important people off.
Advertising your own simfiles.
Advertising other peoples simfiles.
Youd probably get infraction power in places too. Not sure yet. | |
