And no, that wouldn't make it V-Rare 7. The goes to the purple colored combo Extreme 2 / Ultramix 3 at TRU.

The Wal-Mart one is V-Rare 9. It has a reverseable cover (one side is preorder info and the other is the V-Rare cover) and on the back side with the tracklist in the bottom right corner it says "USA V-RARE 9".

I'm guessing GameStop was supposed to get theirs first, then Wal-Mart but something happened.

No. This is a US only V-Rare. However, I bet if you were willing to wait, someone will end up with multiple copies of the V-Rare and they'd probably sell you one.

L.E.F. is one of my favorite Ferry songs! I'm very intrigued by the remixes (10-14), but I'd much rather have a long version of the original Star Gate Heaven (and Innocense of Silence for that matter). I bet they'll turn out to be really well made and awesome.

I wonder if True♡Love's remix is going to have a Japanese club style or an American club style. I hope for the former (because Buchiage Trance, the current Japanese club style, is amazing), but I think Clubstar is an American (or non-Japanese) artist, no?

It would be really cool if KoA took ideas from KoH and added the remixes to the game as special unlocks.

I'm so excited for Supernova CS and the V-Rare!

Edit: I also hope Konami realizes that, since the DDR series has been commercialized in America for about 3 years, players old to the imports and old to the US versions are anticipating harder songs. I'm not saying that easy songs are less enjoyable or anything, but I think every song should have an extra Oni (or challenge) level for each song. It'll give veterans of the old and new something more to strive and achieve for.

Ferrari, thank you, from the bottom of my hyperventilateingly excited heart.

1. My Only Shining Star (Danceforce Dance to Death Mix) - Interesting, very dark-trancey, (hence, dance to death, I guess)

2. TRUE♡LOVE (Clubstar's True Club Mix) - VERY different, airy synth, and a slower, deeper bassline.

3. Flow (Unique's Direction Mix) - Is the only worthwhile remix of Flow yet, IMO, when you get past the intro. Trance Synths + Flow.

4. INNOCENCE OF SILENCE (The Sparky Forbidden Remix) - a more "active" remix.

5. Fascination MAXX (Cally & Juice's Maxximum Overload Mix) - Awesome in a can. Best remix in here, IMO. Fascination MAXX + Chaos with insane Hoovers :P

I...I feel like I'm a better person for hearing the teaser audio. That was probably the most amazing six minutes and fourty-four seconds of music I'll listen to all year. That is, until the V-Rare is in my hot little hands.

I knew there's a reason I keep supporting American Bemani. Its so incredibly awesome music like this is possible. WOW.

As a sidenote, whoever was able to take Flow and turn it into the Unique's Direction Mix is a god among men. Seriously.

i went to wal-mart yesterday (don't ask me why), and they were offering the same thing with a preorder of supernova bundled with the pad. i asked the sales person if i get the soundtrack if i preordered the game without the pad. he just looked at me like a deer looking into headlights. i'm going to EB for this.
