Default Arcade Feedback

Let us know about the arcade. If you have any problems with games, let us know. Also if there's any games that you wanted added, post them here and we'll see what we can do.

EDIT: Sorry about that Keith, I didn't see this here.

"Squares"

I find this game fun.
So I thought it should be added to the arcade games...or something.
It can get very competitive for the high score too.

There's a copy of it at ebaumsworld I think.

If you can find Galaga I would definitely whore that.

And Contra was a bit short.

Aside from those, thanks for putting the arcade up; now I have a place to burn tokens with ^____________________^

The arcade is a great idea! Total time sink, though. It would be nice to have at least one pinball game. I also didn't remember seeing a driving game. And since this is Bemanistyle, how about some Bemani game simulations?!

In the Soap Bubble game, it doesn't look like anyone can submit a high score. As soon as the game is over, you're redirected to the Bemanistyle forums.

Yea, we're working on it.

I added a couple more games suggested.

Thanks Keith.

Something's wrong with squares,

EDIT: It displays the background as black and you can only see the red squares.
If I remember right, the background is supposed to be white, so both types of square are visible.

I swear! if the background was the way it should be for me, then I would be getting 40K - 45K on that game.

The pinball game is driving me nuts. The ball likes going down the middle WAY too much. I lost the first three balls in my high-scoring game in the first 20 seconds by that method.

Still, though, love the arcade!

Thanks, Keith! The flippers are pretty weak on the pinball game, but otherwise, it's cool to have a pinball game in the arcade. Are there any other pinball games available that can be added?

Any idea why the following message comes up sometimes? It's really frustrating if you spent a lot of time earning a high score, then get this message.

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.

You must've pressed back after submitting a score. Make sure you always refresh the page after hitting back to get to a game again or else that'll happen. I don't know why it happens but it is irritating.

Nope, I didn't hit back. The game ended, it automatically tries to submit the score, and all I get is the error message. The high score never registered.

I do notice when I play a game that the rest of the browser page refreshes occasionally, perhaps to update the latest high score for that game. Maybe the score submit happened right at the same time that the refresh is happening? I can't believe I would be that lucky though, because it has happened to me at least twice already. Oh well, just play again and get an even better score, I guess.

First off, the arcade is great...

Secondly, I dunno if it's my connect or the game itself, but the Stick Avalanche Game kinda "freezes" - that is, I'll be in the middle of the game, and it'll lag for a few precious seconds before starting up again. I tried this on two computers (I thought it was my connection) and still had the same problem? Does this happen to anyone else. Thanks in advance.
