Bank interest compounding

At a rate like 2%, given the amounts of tokens people are likely to put in, it seems more logical to make it compound daily instead of weekly. Assuming someone has 1000 tokens in there, they're only going to get 20 per week, which is the equivalent of about 4 posts here.

Obviously posting should be worth a lot more than the bank, but if you're going to stick in 1000 tokens, generally you expect to get something worthwhile.

Well, 2% daily is certainly fair. 10% weekly is also fair. 2% weekly is almost nothing unless you already have so many tokens that it doesn't even matter.

Haha, I guess what the admins are trying to say is that they're rich and that we're not, and that we have to earn tokens by saving up how we save up money in real life, at similar rates of interest, haha.

But, about tokens. There are a few users on these boards that have 0 posts, or next to no posts, and they all have the same exact amount of tokens, or something close to it.

Damn straight. I'll be pissed by the time next week comes and I only get abour 20 tokens. Now we have to buy shit we had since the beginning. NOT COOL.

The bank still has neat potential, but 2% weekly is far too slow.

Continuous would be funny, but it'd just be infinite tokens.

i deposited some more but it still says the same date (6-25)

edit: then i tried withdrawing everything and redepositing it all and it says tomorrow, so its good

and im sure all the users with 10000+ tokens are admins, mods, etc., who can give themselves unlimited tokens

No, but there are specific people with 0 or like 5+ posts that have token counts and they don't appear to be staff or anything for that matter.

They also have that specific token amount, which I find really strange.

Here, lemme see if I can't get a photo.

Here, check this. I've never seen any of these people in my life, they hold no positions, and one user has only posted like 6 times or something.
