This is to do with the simulation forums. If there's a more appropriate place for this post, let me know.

As we know, making a topic to advertise a single simfile of yours isn't allowed here - you have to put it in your sig. In fact, I believe advertising simfiles of any kind isn't allowed in the DDR Simulation forum, which is fair enough.

What confuses me however is the Community Projects forum. I originally had the impression this forum was for projects by the community (e.g. more than one person) but it looks like it's also OK for one person to make a topic about a simpack created entirely by them.

So advertising one simfile of yours = against the rules. Advertising multiple simfiles of yours at once = fine?

If so, how many simfiles do you need to advertise at once before it becomes OK?

I could still use an official answer of some kind on this if anyone has a chance. It's of specific interest to me concerning a few plans I have for the future.

I don't necessarily mind personal projects being posted there as long as they're about tracking progress and not blatantly promoting your pack. I'll change the name and the description of the forum to reflect on it momentarily as well as post an announcement regarding it.

I'm considering eventually starting a themed series of files with regular releases from me (similar to what some people are doing already) and would probably like to have a topic there where I can post new updates as they occur.
