We will make a headline announcement if something were to happen that requires us to wipe our simulation database. If you haven't seen anything to that effect, there's nothing to worry about.
That is reassuring thank you. And I guess the announcement would be made way in advance otherwise people would gridlock the database with downloads on the last few days it is up.
Yes, if something were to be changing with our database we would try to give everyone at least a months notice so they can back up their old files and get ready to move/re-upload them wherever. The only reason we would wipe the database at this point is if we were to decide to make it a dedicated website rather than a feature, or if we were doing a massive update to the actual code for it that would require such action.
