Over sized Menu?

So which menus were removed? I really don't remember.

Nothing was removed, I just made it all more prominent and got rid of the date that used to be on the right side. I'd like to redo the whole menu, but that won't happen unless I decide to do a whole site redesign, and that's not in the cards anytime soon.

Well, if anything... at least you didn't try to go and be too cheap and completely center the menu bar. Now that would look ugly ;_;

Meh... it'll take me a little while to get used to =P Still looks funny, but who cares... it won't stop me from using the menu bar =P

As I said, I want to do something completely different with the navigation, but that would involved basically a whole site redesign. This is best immediate measure I could take to make something that's a bit more stand out. Given my design history, I should've technically started designing 8.0 months ago. There's just too much going on right now, I wouldn't expect that to even start being an actual idea until sometime next year, if even then.

I think making it a smidge smaller would be less ridiculous... as it is, it's kind of excessive.

Agreed, that font looks just way too big. It's almost like an ad.

I agree. It's not too bad, just a little bit large. Maybe make it go across half the screen on whatever the standard resolution is (1280x1024?). I also started screwing around with my font sizes to try to fix it

I'm gonna play around with the menu some more tonight. I'll find something suitable.

As for the sig, I put that together for Keith last night :p I need to make one for myself too but I'm lazy and don't really know what I want to use. In other words, tell your friend I said thanks haha.

edit: I lowered the font size a bit and shrunk the menu back down so it would even out with the header a bit more for those of you not on staff. I'm not going to change it any further as this is meant to accommodate everyone (regulars, staff, newcomers, etc.). Sorry if you don't like it, because that's the way it's gonna be until I decide to do a site revamp.
