That's pretty much all I have for praise.
A) WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE SMILIES? White borders, no sense of continusim or whatever
B) Who the hell decided to put ITG, PIU, and O2JAM in with Guitar Hero and Taiko and crap? They should be hella more prominent than that.
C) http://www.shorttext.com/d0maq
D) The forum shop - soooo bad ;_;
E) Horrible color scheme. You know, I sort of expected a good custom theme, not a crappy $30 one from eXtremepixels
F) So many bugs. For example: broken simfile uploading, broken link adding, and I randomly got logged out while browsing (and the horribly stuck-out login box near the ad didn't show the password or submit fields)
uuugh
I am glad to see that 7 is up. But it seems like you did it just because of FFR's recent redesign. Ew.

If some one could give me an error from uploading a simfile I might be able to fix it.
One of the main reasons we released is because we couldn't take the old forums anymore. They caused too much stress on the server. At times the server wouldn't even be reachable and this was only because of the 6.0 forums.
The server load on 6.0 was generally about 5.0 - 15.0. Now it is about 1.0 and below.
Seriously if you're going to say all this stuff that's wrong you could at least help us and tell us what OS and browser you're using. What exact problems, errors, and what pages are giving you the problems.
I don't really see why ffr's redesign would cause us to release 7.0, it's not like we get paid to do this or anything.
We know not everything is ready but in the next week most of it should be. The media shop will be up and running in a couple days and if some one will tell me an error they're getting from the sims upload I can fix that now.
And obviously you didn't delete your cookies like I posted in the main headline post.

Add to that the random stickying of idiot topics, the down-grading of useful topics, and we have... DDR Freak 2005 AFD.
Edit... So I'm actually a little worried to modify my account, starting a new thread, or even continuing posting.

| Well, instead of rushing 7.0, how about just taking the forums down and giving like a forumer.com forum or something? You didn't have to rush this, or at least could have polished it a little.

I understand it could take a while to get the main site fully up and running, but it should be waaay more polished by now, especially if you knew you were about to release it.

But since you still haven't posted a real error I can only assume you're just complaining to complain.

I could just buy all the immunity options, but that kind of costs a fair few tokens. I know, maybe I can steal the tokens from everyone

They are doing it because they want to out of their own spare time, it's fine to have concerns but to out and out bitch about something they took their precious time to develop is really stupid.
And the theme is good, the colors are a bit painful to look at but it's supposed to mimic IIDX RED, which is pretty much the same.
The site's been up for less than a day, obviously they needed to actually run it on the servers to see how the final product would turn out. Give them some damn time to work all the bugs out. Nothing's perfect.

| I applaud them for finding a theme to buy that looks ( http://www.extremepixels.com/vb/scar...se_details.php ) like RED, but that doesn't make it good. Look at that login box in the corner- not only is it redundant when you're on the forums, it's much to bright. Quote: |

| Um, they've been testing it to people since it started. I've seen a lot of the people who tested say that they thought it was nowhere near release.
Also, Keith- you really should have gotten more coders, then. And many of the things I said didn't have errors. The ones that were I expected you to see yourself. The only one that had an actual error message was the sims DB, which you could have taken a second to test yourself.

If you have to know, the error was caused only by people whose user id's were greater than 100. Reasons like that is why you can't catch everything until it goes live.
We do have a few other coders but you know they have lives too.
You have the login box in the corner when you're logged in? It should give basic user info so that you know that you're logged in. See things like that I need to know since it works fine for me.
