Total Tokens: 9,965.44 Donate Tokens | Backing up Guitar Freaks Drummania V So, I recently got my fresh copy of GFDM V just recently. And I've been trying to get an exact copy of it so I wouldn't have to use my original.
Now for SOME REASON there is always something wrong with copy. Sometimes the music doesn't play, sometimes the keynotes are NOT what they are supposed to be. Hell, sometimes the background doesn't play.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is GFDM V just isn't possible to get an good exact copy?
I've tried everything, I've been using memorex dvd+r's, those didn't work well so I used Maxell and it was a LITTLE better but still had the same problem.
Does anyone here have a good working copy? If so, could they tell me what they did? I heard best media to use was verbatim but my wal-mart only had dual layered versions.
Maybe its possibly the program I'm using? I've been using dvd decrypter to extract it from my GFDM DVD and burning it at max.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've burned games at 16x onto dvd-r and never had a probem with any of them. Try burning at a low speed to dvd-r, and it should work [I used to burn at 1x, but I have a newer burner now ^^;]

Any help is greatly appreciated. | There is your problem right there. ALWAYS burn at half the media speed and no more than that.

Burning at half the max speed or at 4x.
I'm not so sure if my dvd burner can do -R's.
but it says this
Philips DVD+-RW
I'm guessing I can do both huh?
Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks for the help guys. | Yep, a +-RW will indeed burn both types of disc, and burning as slow as possible [if you're patient enought to wait for a few hours] minimizes errors when writing to the disc.
