Total Tokens: 173.20 Donate Tokens | Can you understand it? I've never played any of these games before. I like the look of them but the problem I'm having is, is it worth buying guitar freaks or anyother game because there all in Japanese. I have guitar hero and i really like that game but i want another challenge. Was thinking about buying the guitar freaks controller and the drum one, but can you play the game fully as the language is all Japanese. I've had a look around on sites and they say the menu is in English. I guess am trying to say is can you play all the songs and understand what your doing or is there a limit to what you can do because of the language barrier. Is it the same for others like beatmania and popn music and the other music games on this site.
Sorry if this is a stupid question or already been answered but am really interested in these games.

All the adjustments for controls, options, and such are all in English. The only thing you'll miss out on is the warning that says "Don't play this game by swinging the guitar wildly" and you will not be able to read some of the song titles. However,95% of the game is in English. And if you don't understand the other 5%, you could always ask us. Good luck!!

And you can pretty much find English explanations of both of those online.

Think i might just buy a jap one as it sees easy than messing about with chips. Am kinda liking the look of beatmani aswell, but will keep to buying guitar freaks first. Am from the uk so will a jap ps2 work over here, might sound a stupid question but have no idea about these sorts of things.

Bemani games and adventure games rule. Broken sword all the way. | If you get a slim PS2 you shouldn't have too many problems. The transformer for the slim PS2 is designed to take voltages ranging from 100V all the way to 240V, so you won't need to worry about a voltage stepdown for this system. As long as you have a TV that can accept an NTSC signal, you should be set.

Thanks bud!

Thanks bud! | You are so helpful Xybur, what is probably a frequently overlooked issue that was not discussed in this thread as of yet certainly needs to be sarcastically reprimanded when someone brings it up as a "just in case" tip. You certainly have helped alot by including your wonderful and relevant critique.
Thanks bud!
