Cheaper kb thah Yamaha for keyboardmania ?

Hi,

I'm new to keyboardmania, and I've read there is a PC version bundled with the Yamaha EZ 250i midi kb.

But I wonder if this kb would work with the ps2 versions of the game, if plugged to the console usb port by this official UX16 converter from Yamaha ?:

And as the EZ 250i is still very expensive, I wonder which cheaper midi kb would work both also with ps2 and usb converter, just like it seems to be shown in this video:

I have a Yamaha digital keyboard and a UX-16 I got for Drummania, so I will look into if it works for KBM or not.

For some reason I'm thinking Keyboardmania 1 doesn't have support for random MIDI keyboards, only the Konami controller.
Keyboardmania II does, though.
