Default Clearing Data on GF: MPS

I downloaded a save to unlock all the songs since I just didn't want to deal with horrible unlock system (I unlocked gold first). There are a bunch of scores from the person that unlocked the game and I'd like to get rid of them along with all the % scores and song completion icons (the little colored light when you beat a song.) I tried clearing the records but the scores still appear at the song selection. Is there any way to get rid of that?

Sadly, you can't have one but not the other...

What I started to do was just try the time unlock feature. A song played with failing off still counts as time right? I just play a long version and hit start every once and a while. Still haven't made it to 5 hours despite having played every song on regular and bass and then a ton of plays learning harder songs.

Sorry for bumping an old old old thread, but I did the same thing, cleared the records, and now it doesn't even save my new clears. All of the old data was records from BSC and ADV and junk like that, and clearing the scores out seems to have broken the game's ability to save my new scores. :/

Anyone know anything further about this?

EDIT: Weird, I rebooted, changed pretty much every setting (for some reason difficulties were on 8/8), wiped the scores again and now it works fine. Never mind, I suppose.
