Total Tokens: 839.02 Donate Tokens | Closest feel to Arcade Dm? Hi, I downloaded DTXmania for my computer and decided to try it out. Minutes later I concluded that it's not a smart idea to play on the keyboard. My question is, which controller out there has the closest feel to the arcade, and still compatible with a computer?
I can probably spend up to 200 or so, is there one?

DTXpress/Any other Yamaha DTX model brings the closest feel, however, they are extremely expensive. To get ANYTHING close to Arcade, you'll either have to shell out a lot of money OR make a controller yourself.

I have tried so hard to position the pads to match the arcade feel with no success. Its just me but I would advise against getting any home version of DM and just play at the arcade. I am thinking about selling my DTXpress III which i spent about 1150 on including the stuff it doesnt come with.

Total Tokens: 1,008.77 Donate Tokens | what? the DTX series pad is exactly the same as arcade if remembered correctly. If not, i think the DTX's one is bigger.
and bout the position, hm.. be creative to get same as arcade position.
here my set up for my 'private GFDM home arcade' http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/6...onoheyaga3.jpg
5 pads only for drummania
and yeah ive got closest feel to arcade (there is a DM machine in my town even if only PF4th mix sadly.. but i can feel the same with my home DM)
but i think, playing at home is lot better, except for number of songs of course.

I thought I had a nice share with my ASC and 3 PS2 CS games. Did you have to lay out all the games atop the pads and have all 3 controllers showing just to hurt our feelings?

hahah don't feel bad! I was being sarcastic! I thought it was obvious. It was just my way of saying your set up and collection kicks so much ass I wish I want it/I'm secretely insulting you to make myself feel better.
But don't worry. I hate DuesEx even worse. What's that smaller white screen on the bottom? Don't tell me it's another TV.

And thanks guys.
..for making me drool.
I think I will just stick to the arcade, because I don't want to spend less than what is needed and buy a half assed setup.

Does anyone know of the best price I'm going to get? | In the united states you can get a DTXplorer with bass pedal and a drum throne for about 850 USD. which I thnk that is roughly 550 - 600 pounds???
