Concertino in Blue

Where is that song?!

I saw it on the Top ranker DVD, and thought maybe it was on V2, but i cant find it anywhere.

I looked in V2, V, and Masterpiece Silver.

Is it even out on a CS version yet?

It's one of the main reasons why people are predicting a Masterpiece Gold. There's no way that Concertino (along with a dozen other songs missing) could have NOT been one of the top votes, and it just stands that Konami is saving it for the next GFDM "best of" they have planned.

i can see probably the nex masterpiece game to be released this summer
and i hope they announce V4 shortly after wooo!!!!

I would plan on a Summer release for these 2. V4 announced and hopefully Masterpiece Gold announced sometime soon and then released in the Summer.

well "silver" is not as much as gold, so there must be a new version of a msterpiece its on.

I am honestly one of those people that aren't holding their breath for Masterpiece Gold. I mean, there was IIDX Gold, and then the fact that I haven't heard of many other "Best of" video games in other bemanis. Plus, if it's in the top play charts, that doesn't mean people like it enough to vote for it. The gitado charts are mainly for points skill and to battle it out. Think of it this way "If one's favorite sword wasn't the most beneficial to his success, would one choice it over the better sword?" Just because people play it doesn't mean they like it.

Yeah, but no other Bemani CS series skipped 7 AC mixes.

although a very good point, like th post below said, the series did skip alot of AC games, and Konami will prbably make up for doing that.

I think the problem with putting something like Concertino In Blue in Masterpiece Silver is...well, it's really blisteringly hard. Which means that it's not only going to jack up the songlist's overall difficulty (and I remind you that, for all intents and purposes, this is supposed to be a regular CS game, not what we usually mean by "best hits collection") but draw a lot of attention from the other, less popular monsters.

I'm almost certain it'll be in Masterpiece Gold. It's popular, but not Taisetsu na Mono/Believe In Love/Andante/Dragon Blade popular, and it looks to be due. Hey, you've already gone several years any new CS games whatsoever, what's another few months?

honestly I'm not holding my breath either. I know if it is announced they'll be so many damn opinions of what should be on there and what shouldnt be. Sure, dragon blad and taisetsunamono are played alot but that doesnt mean its a good song right?(though both are ok) I mean, maybe konami doesnt even intend of releasing a gold/platinum/shiny/diamond. perhaps silver was just silver to release some songs noone thought they would/underplayed but still great songs.

Besides, with stuff like Sasaki and Asaki songs not making much into recent CS dont you think if all these songs were in Gold the game would be so damn difficult it would be ridiculous? Sure, people would still play it but I think the only thing at a decent difficulty would be dragon blade and such. I would probably still get it but I just dont think Konami would do it.

oni-ice - That's one song. One song is fine. Even four or five songs is fine, but not a lot more than that. Even after more than seven years, this is still, at heart, a populist game, and there is simply no reason at all to ever go top-heavy.

Anyway, CiB is not only difficult but incredibly intense, especially with the heavy piano parts, and...well, a bit rich for MS's blood. Gold should be a perfect fit.

And why wouldn't Konami release Gold? There was a time they were concerned about this selling. That time passed. This is obviously something that a lot of players want, and the songs are right there. There was far more doubt about IIDX 7th Style than a new Masterpiece.
