Default Connecting Topway/TAC guitar controller to GF V2, please help

Hi, i recently fell addicted to GF, to be honest yesterday and today is my bday and friends miraculously pulled together to buy me 2 x topway/TAC model number Tp-PS11668B guitar controllers. I was wondering could this be connected to GF V2 because i've got this version of the game.

We're all new to this game so we're unaware of what is necessary.

Any help in connecting the controllers or mapping of the controllers in order for it to work is appreciated.

Furthermore if i really need to get a refund i will as well.

Lend me your guidance my fellow GF lovers.

the answer is no. a guitar hero controller with MPS (and mos likely MPG) wil work. The only flaw in that scenario is during the song selection screen, the left direction is held down always so it makes it move left (you have to keep switching in and out a dual shock controller).

honestly, with the refund + money to buy a GH controller, you can get 2 Konami Official controllers (whuch will work on all games).

*I still vote we need some sticky on GF + non Konami Guitar controller compatability topics.*

Erm, he's talking about 3rd party Guitar FREAKS controllers, BobbyS.
I'd expect that the default control settings should work fine?

TOPWAY made 2 type of guitars, one for GF and one for GH with same buttons and same size, same shape, only color is different (and function of course..)

For mapping a Guitar Hero controller to GF V2/MS:

Green = R2
Red = Circle
Yellow = Triangle
Blue = X
Orange = Square
Strum Bar = Up/Down, map both of these to Picking
Star Power = Select, map this to Wailing

Left is always held down, you can map that to Wailing if you feel like being lame ;(

Or you can map L2 to Wailing and it'll actually work like it should.
