hey all im relativly new to the drummania world

been playing dm for a year or so now till my arcade sold its last machine last month got into gh for a bit then bought rockband for ps2 hoping it would fill the void , after major problems with the drums an guitar an several replacements off ea i decided to sell it the other day to a mate who was keen for it

i got a ntsc\j ps2 an gf 3rd & dm 2nd mix for xmas off my brother along with the asc guitar an the konami drums ( bit smaller then i thought they'd be but i make do )

now im looking to buy a couple of GF & DM games from play asia with the money i got from selling rockband but dont no which ones to go for

is it worth picking up masterpeice gold & masterpeice silver or just the gold ? (ie does gold have most of the tracks off silver on it ?)

im kinda leading towards V3 an masterpeices gold would anyone recomened these titles for a medium skilled player ?

Gold and Silver share NO songs; their songlists are 100% unique.

I would say get Gold and Silver first, then V3/V2/V in whatever order you prefer.

I would agree with RMZ. The Masterpieces give you a huge range of songs, while the V's (good as they are) have little aside from their premier songs.

Adding to the agreement, you just can't go wrong with Gold or Silver. Theres a wide range of genres and songs on both, and as said before, they are completely unique to each other.

I started off with Silver and I'm happy I did. I would recommend getting both, but if you cannot (which is understandable), get silver, and then gold.

LOL I made a topic just like this except I had a ">_<" smilie in the title, haha!

Beware of Masterpiece SILVER's unlock system though....I did it the old-fashioned way (via Roulette) and it took me over two weeks to fully unlock the game.....and that's with me constantly getting the PREMIUM ENCORE STAGE for nearly each session!

but i have the 100% unlocked save file :P ill use it if\when i get desperate lol

ended up ordering gold , silver just waiting for play asia to get back in stock so my order can ship ... the waiting is the hardest part ...
