I'm working on programming a microcontroller to act as a playstation controller, kind of like that srayer.com guy calls option #2. The problem of the microcontroller not being fast enough is solved by getting one with SPI hardware built in, such as many AVR chips. That handles the serial communication for you so you don't have to work nearly so quickly to keep up. If I had guitar freaks I would totally hack my roommate's GH3 controller, but I don't.
As Wompa would put it, I beat this guy at 'neckbeardage', despite hating facial hair. I am impressed that there are so many extra inputs on that board. Pity there's no right. |
