e higher versions have more samples and region-specific sections (make different sounds on different parts of a single pad). they are used more often in live band / concert situations if im not wrong. | |

i would advice against a DTXplorer
its great for the purpose of Drummania but single hit zones and the limited samples (compared to the DTXPress II and III) will only limit you in playing drums with any real dynamics | |
