Does anyone here have a DTXPress IV and if you do is it worth the money, because $1000 is a lot of cash and I want to know what other people think before I look into buying one.
I recently purchased a DTXpress (seems like an original), the MIDI connectors and everything, but I have no idea how to set it up. Please assist, thanks.

Plug the IN plug on the USB adaptor to the OUT port on the DTX unit, then plug it into your PS2, and set your unit to drum kit #01 (not required but Konami says it helps sometimes). That should be all you need to do.
It seems confusing to a lot of people, but think about it like the DTX is sending the signal out (via the OUT port) and it's going in to the USB adaptor (which is why you use the IN plug).
