Marketplace Rating: 1 | Family Restaurant Bomber Augh, I just spent the majority of a sitting trying to pass this song, first on DM Adv, and then on GF EX....And I just have to ask, is this song horribly mislabelled? ; ;
I've passed most of the songs aroun level 70 on GF, and can pass most songs around 60 on DM and I keep getting raped near the end ; ; Maybe I just need to get past some fundamental thing I'm doing wrong.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | If you can only pass 60's on DM, good fucking luck. I am at around level 90s right now and I just now barely passed it. That bass is so retarded. Or maybe it's just me?
EDIT: OOPS I thought you were talking about the EXT. :/

ADV? Your leg needs more training in the ending 1-2s I guess. Honestly, I think EXT is much easier...
GF:
It's not easy because of the darn triplets killer ending (like Destiny Lovers GTR and Carnival Day Bass on crack)
But it's not hard neither because of the straightforward starting.
So... I dunno.
rmz: u cant play it when u can play 90s? odd. guess u need more bass training e.g monster tree, agnus dei, mad blast, departure.
note: something tells me that I made a post earlier regarding *i need help about this n that song* but ppl dun quite use it... ah yes, this is the one....

I have similar problems with Let Me Believe but not to quite as much of an extent.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | The ADV is pretty hard too, I can pass stuff in the 60s range (and one >70 so far) and I failed it when I tried. The parts with all the tom+cymbal hits are really confusing.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | That tom+cymbal section is really easy once you figure out how to play it.
If I remember correctly it goes like this on Extreme... Left Hand - Right Hand - Foot
Snare + High Tom
Low Tom + Cymbal + Bass
High Tom + Cymbal + Bass
repeat...
Sorry I couldn't make that a bit neater, but hopefully you get the idea. I think it throws most people off because you have to hit most of the toms with your left hand.

It's just that the 16th note triple-hits and things like that in Family Restaurant Bomber wear down my ankle's stamina and it gets tired after a few playthroughs.
My bass technique is not the issue, I'm pretty sure, it's just that my ankle tends to get tired if I play bass-heavy long versions without any breaks in between :P And every time I tried to play Family Restaurant Bomber, it was after I had been playing for a while.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | well for GF my observation is that long versions are more likely to be underrated than short versions. At least for the older long versions... i.e. the riff riff long versions, riff riff orbit anyone (that lightning fast reverse scale that happens at the double orbit section at the end is especially ruthless).
but yeah on FRB guitar at the end it's not that bad because the pattern is repeating over and over... in Carnival Day I find it 10x harder because the pattern keeps changing and then gets ridiculous at one point.
but FRB you once you can get the pattern it just keeps repeating.

..if im not wrong. Or simply saying, ur right hand stays at cymbal except for one note, then left hand clears the rest.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | It's rated 72 in V3 on ext, which is about right. Prior to that it was in the 60s, which was too low.
It was the first level 70 song I cleared, so I don't think it's overrated at 72. It's just difficult in a different way from most level 70 songs, i.e., it involves a lot of stamina. The tom / cymbal bit just takes practice, but you can pass without really being able to do it (the first few times I passed the song, I was doing that part wrong).
It's a pretty simple song really, I doubt there's anything fundamental you're doing wrong. You just need decent bass technique and stamina. Oh, and for the intro and the ending - just spam, unless you're hilariously good. The way to FC is to use double-beat rolls, but forget that unless you're a tatsujin. Just spam green and red as fast as you can and aim to get enough non-misses to not die.
edit: oh, and try to learn where and how (it's different from all the others, there's no warm up, it just kicks in) the final 'bass on every beat' section starts, don't be surprised by it: if you get surprised by it you'll get several misses and your life bar will drop. If you're prepared for it you'll be able to keep your life bar high, which will help you survive the very end.
