Either way, there will always be a "small amount" of the top players in each corresponding arcade. It's just how such "ranking" works.

I don't know, maybe I'm just spouting nonsense, but that's all I've got to say I guess. 48 hours of non-sleep is fun.

it's really max? I could have sworn i saw FULL on it... is it that way in V also?
but yeah it was either full or max, it was an english word for sure if not full.

the guy just decimated the game though, i was like.. jesus christ

It was MAX in 10th mix, it was MAX in V, it certainly is MAX in V2 (Alphonse's records), and it most likely will remain as MAX in V3 and henceforth.

It only uses MAX to indicate 100% in the song selection screen, yeah, but I think when you get a full combo on the song, on the song results screen it says FULL COMBO (at least I think this is what we're talking about; the conversation got a bit convoluted). This is probably where the confusion over the naming came about. At least, this is my assumption.

Anyhow, I'll hop down to the 'cade today and check up on that.

I believe he's talking about the SP% you see when you just scroll through songs normally, because I'm pretty sure no one player would be mad enough to play through every single song in one sitting in one day.

To add on:

A Full Combo means having no Poors and no Misses. (100% on Perfects, Greats, and Goods tallied, and 0 on Poors and Misses tallied)
An SS means a Full Combo, in addition to having no Goods. (100% on Perfects and Greats tallied, and 0 on Goods, Poors and Misses tallied)
A MAX aka EXCELLENT means an SS, in addition to having to having no Greats. (100% Perfects. 0 for the rest)
