GFDM V4 Location test in Hong Kong

There was a website announcing the location test:

The Virtual Zone test (the one in Kowloon) already finished but their is still another on-going location test.

Thing is though: Where will it be held??? (sorry can't read Chinese text )

Anyone here from HK who would care to give some info about it?

Any place to play BM IIDX over there?

My family with be staying in some hotel in Nathan Road, Kowloon (a few kilometers away from the Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok areas).

Any place nearby where I can play BM IIDX (aside from the one at Virtual Zone)???

Tsim Sha Tsui Gold star has a IIDX there....
From what I remember is....Take the MTR...get off at Tsim Sha Tsui
Use the B2 exit....



Virtual zone is actually quite far away...
If you're Hotel is in Mong Kok... taking the MTR train would take about 25 minutes... and the V3 there is a bit screwed up 3_3

Even that Wan Chai HK game city arcade is closer to you
Although it's across the harbour, it wouldn't take you long

I just discovered that the hotel where my family is staying at is near three MRT Interchanges:

-Prince Edward
-Mong Kok
-Yau Ma Tei

So that means I have access to places on both Tsuen Wan and Kwun Tong lines.

You're right though about Virtual Zone being quite far. I just found out for myself that VZ is located at Telford Plaza 2 which is located within Telford Garden (Headquarters of MTR Corporation). The map I read points out that from the hotel where we'll be, it's around 7 train stops away from that place (Kowloon Bay Station).

Then again, I won't be playing much GFDM V3 since we already have those in my home country (Philippines)...just without e-amusement though :P

So I'll be checking out two game centers/video arcades then: VZ and Gold Star.

But other than those two, are there any other places that you like to recommend that have BM IIDX? (places along the Tsuen Wan and Kwun Tong MTR train lines?)

and it's the only IIDX Gold in Hong Kong...

The exact adress of the hotel (Empire Hotel Kowloon) is:
26 Kimberly Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

So I presume Gold Star and this...United Plaza center are the closest...while Virtual Zone has the best and the latest (14th:GOLD).

Correct?

Too bad they have location tests at HK. Singapore needs to have one too, even if it's only for 1 day...

Speaking of which, I did go to Gold Star although it took me the last day of my trip to find it. :P

I forgot about the back door thingy so the only way that I found the place was by going left to Carnavron Road and seeing a sign saying it was Gold Star.

I only played BM IIDX there and it was only for 30 mins. (I had to leave for the airport that tiem) but it was worth it and is a very unique experience.

For V3, well.....I did try this small underground center (a few meters back of Kimberly Road) where they have V3 but the guy beside me (playing GF player 1) was smoking real bad (he had like three packs of cigarettes with him) SHIT!!!

On the plus side though, I did get to try e-amusement and it was cool to see that songs such as Micro Fin, Day's and FIRE (Long Version) are available in regular gameplay

Anyways, I do hope to visit HK again.

from wad i know so far, only singapore ban cigarettes from indoor areas, including arcades.

well datz good, at least none of us players will have premature lung cancer.
