Jungle is incredibly bad. I'm actually pretty offended that those two put out an Encore Stage of this quality (or lack thereof). Let's just hope Sonne saves this lousy excuse for music.
Jungle should just been called "Lol Technical" Cause thats all it is. I imagine izumi went to weckl and was like "make a really technical chart" and weckl came back and Izumi pasted his technical chart on top of weckls. Then weckl was like "you know this song makes no sense, should we fix it" Then they both just banged their heads on a piano for a minute and pasted that on top. And that my children is how Jungle was born.

I think you pretty much nailed my mental image of Jungle's creative process. Mostly the head-piano-banging part.
So Sonne still isn't out yet? I'm glad they saved that for last; Jungle would be a pretty low note to end the mix on :<

I'm pretty sure neither Digital Izumi nor Digital Jimmy have the digital instruments at their disposal capable of hitting a lower note. They'd have to create a new one within the confines of their horrible horrible video.

I would not like it if it was in IIDX, as it would probably be one of the Extra stages, which would mean I'd have to play it to get everything on the CS version.
Now if it was the normal OMES, I'd be fine with that, since it wouldn't have its own frame and it'd be one less chance to get some BPM gimmicky DDR boss song.
It probably would have somewhat fun, if not hard, charts that would be difficult to make annoying or stupid, though.
I didn't find it THAT bad (there's songs on GF/DM that I think are worse than this, but that's just my opinion), but the Mutsuhiko Izumi/Jimmy Weckl collaboration potential just seems wasted, especially for an Encore Stage.
Jungle is amazing. I'll be the first to say it, it's really really grown on me. The chart is difficult as shit but I can imagine it getting really fun with a bit of practice. The song is a lot better when you take it in as a whole and don't focus on each individual part. If this thing doesn't get into pop'n music as the most fun 42 ever made I will be so disappointed in konami for passing up such a great opportunity.

Then it's not in the right game. We shouldn't have to like it for what it /could/ be but rather what it is. Also, why should the chart have to be practiced to be fun?
I have to admit, now that I can actually hear the song as whole (unlike playing in the arcade where the BGM is very washed out), I'm starting to like it. The guitar chart is still incredibly not-fun, though. It's sort of like Rock to Infinity in that regard. Bass is much more fun to play.
