Default Guitar Freaks 4th Mix / Drummania 3rd Mix CS Problem

Why is that sometimes in the song selection screen that the options go back to default, even though I had preset options, such as the high speed rate?

i have no prob on speed rate, maybe you didnt turn on your autosave?
you should change it in playstyle menu in FREE MODE section, and your playstyle option will be default for all game modes.

No, it's not the autosave. The options go back to default when I am in the middle of selecting a song. While scrolling to find a song to play, I hear the option change back to normal. The most annoying part is I can't change the options afterwards.

I think thats GF you're playing, and i have this problem as well when i play with any options like speed ups and such. pressing R/B (one of them) enough times consecutively will cancel all the "buffs" you entered. It's a hassle especially when you're skimming through the songs, since sometimes you overshoot the selection and have to press THAT button 3 or more times just to scroll back to the song you want. I cant find a remedy for it but i try to hold down the button instead of tapping it several times, but is annoying as playing roulette all the time.

let me guess, did u use dual shock 2 as guitar controller? and set your config to set C?
if yes, i can explain a bit
this is because command to cancel all options is "press pick several times"
and you choose your song with up/down directional button (for song selection yes, it used for select a song but in game used for pick button)

so when you choose SET C for Dual Shock 2, you choosing the song and picking in the same time and will cancel your options after several times hitting the up/down directional button.

If youre not using dual shock 2, hmmm.. i think i cant help right now sorry..

Or using anything other than the official Konami Official Controller...

I had this problem using the topway controllers i modded - If you hear the crowd Booing for no reason, that';s your problem.

That's why...
I was using SET C for Dual Shock 2.
I could use the up arrow if it's not used for picking or pressing any R,G,B button between each arrow press, to avoid the P,P,P,P,... code.
Thank you very much.

youre welcome
up directional button is set for Pick as well as down directional button, pressing any R,G,B button between each arrow press maybe will solve it.
