Check does have a point, though. Buying the ASC won't have you EXEing Concertino overnight; how well you do is dependent on your general skill level. Conversely, some people who own ASCs complain that the playing makes them worse (stiff buttons/picks, different "feel" in general), and that the guitar refuses to be "broken in" despite months of heavy usage. But, I digress...

As far as the rest of his post is concerned... the only people who bother making videos are Surreal and I... and the videos only get made if Surreal happens to bring his digicam to the arcade with him :p I want to see some videos of martians playing GFDM tho <3

I make youtube videos of my CS sessions, but they aren't in the arcade so it doesn't really count

PS: I've played with Check's modded ASC. I can say that I play ~35-50SP worse than my typical "skill level" w/ that thing.

As with any bemani game you're going to play better in the arcade. That doesn't mean that playing on CS is going to harm you though.

shit I have been up since 10pm and what do I do?? I miss my 1st attempt from UPS aghhh, now I have to miss a day of work just to wait for this damn package.

Funny you say that. I remember ordering my DS from them and UPS left it at my doorstep. I'm not sure if price range matters since I do remember spending around $250 for my DS and Ouendan 1. I guess they require signatures now like FedEx. :-/

On the brightside for me, I'm getting paid real soon so I hope they won't sell out so soon.

I think it's up to Play-Asia if a signature is required or not. This is more or less a total guess based on limited observations, but it seems they do it for big/heavy items and around the holidays. The only two packages of mine from them that ever required a signature were the two Rockman Arrange albums that got delivered the Friday before Christmas and my IIDX ASC (I didn't get my GF ASC through P-A). Not even a week ago UPS left the PSP I ordered on my doorstep.

EDIT: However, my Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 didn't require a signature, so price probably factors in as well.

That's just how UPS logs their tracking info. When the truck leaves to make the rounds, that entry gets put in. However, the time it actually makes it to your place is based on how they run their route. Stuff arrives at my place in a range from 3:00-5:00 PM. Just today a package I got from them made it at 1:11 PM. Another time, something arrived as late as 7:00 PM. It's just a matter of how many packages they have to deliver before they get to your place.

Maybe I just havent gotten to the harder levels yet, but Im doing 50's with little problem with springs intact.
