From what I know, it'll be called "ROCK TO INFINITY!", Battle Mode will be getting a overhaul, over 40 new songs (which brings the total to exactly 500 songs on the machine). & it'll be coming out in June.

I'd love to hear a new Hirofumi Sasaki song. We all know there's gonna be a new Jimmy Weckl song & a few Mutsuhiko Izumi songs.

Seeing as Izumi like to do a pattern w/ his Model songs...

V4: Model DD8
V5: Model FT3??

Hope he does make it & it sounds awesome like everyother Model song.

But this is the 16th Guitar Freaks & the 15th Drummania. While it doesn't make sense why it's "V", they just called it that so people wouldn't be confused in the whole linking-the-machines-together (since GF is 1 mix older than DM, like how 11th would link w/ 10th, & GF 10th would link w/ 9th, NOT 10th). GF/DM V came out in 2005, but the originals came out in 1999, which would be 6 years, BUT the PS2 version of DM came out in 2000 (almost 5 years before V, by 1 month) & the 3rd/2nd Mix also came out in 2000, so maybe that's it...

And the battle item feature reminds me of Mario Kart. I wonder what kind of items would be available / what they do in battle mode. Any word on location tests and when?

V was made when GF/DM V came out because it marked the series' 5 year anniversary.

Didn't V4 come out around October? They're in a rush to get V5 out the door it seems...

V4 came out in August. & they're STILL updating the site! Today, they finally put Slang in the music section. They still haven't put on Model DD8!!
